"Wrapped up!"

Stepping Out in RED Shoes!
 - Day 93 -

Shake Him Off!
Shove Him Out!
Shut the Door!
Then Claim What's Rightfully Yours!

As much as prayer is the answer for so many of our struggles, sometimes we can become so obsessed with our specific situation and circumstance that we become totally wrapped up in it.  Another word for "wrapped up" is  bound.

"bound" means...
wrapped up,  tied up,  shackled,
to the point of restriction.
Unable to move -  limited.

Sometimes the challenges of life can be heavily burdensome.  It's normal and right to bring our concerns to Christ, but have you ever caught yourself in a bit of a prayerful panic over things?   Sometimes fear can cause us to be consumed with prayer.

Contrary to what you may think,
fear driven prayer is ineffective.

The devil uses it against you.  He takes every anxious utterance you make and wraps it around you until you're paralyzed.  You cant move.  You're sick over the entire scenario.  Yikes!  It time for deliverance!

Every time I've ever been in that place, the Lord has instructed me to stop praying for myself, and to go help someone else.  You'll be amazed at what God can do, when you leave your issue with Him and go about The Father's business.  That's easier said than done.

First,   SHAKE  OFF  the enemy --
the fear, the lies, and all he's wrapped you in.

"Enough is enough!  No more!
Father... Release me
of the things that bind me!"

Second, you need to  SHOVE THE DEVIL  right out the door.  You must take authority in Jesus' Name.

"Get out!  in Jesus' Name.
You're not welcome here!
I bind you in Jesus' Name
and cast you down!"

Thirdly, you need to  SHUT THE DOOR.

The enemy can be a bit like an obnoxious telemarketer or door to door salesman.  If he thinks that there's an opportunity to sell you something short of your expectation, he will relentlessly pursue your business.

HANG UP THE PHONE!
SHUT THE DOOR!
DISCONNECT!

Don't worry about being rude.  End it right there.   Shut the door and lock it.  Game over!  You don't have to explain anything to him.  The less you say, the better.

Finally,  CLAIM WHAT'S RIGHTFULLY YOURS,  thank the Lord for it, and move on to the Father's business.  Leave it in His hands.

Turn your head from your problem
and see what you might do to help someone else.

Then get up and go.  Don't give it another thought.  It's in the Father's hands now!  You'll be amazed at how much ground you'll take possession of while focusing on someone else.  That's because "The Battle is the LORD's, not yours." (2 Chronicles 20:15).   He will fight for you  and victory will come!

We've all heard that old saying...

JOY happens when you focus on:

 J - Jesus
O - Others
Y - You

More often than not, stepping out in RED shoes means stepping out to help someone else.
