"Waiting."

Stepping Out in RED Shoes!
- Day 60 -

I once had a card that said:
"When you think you can't go one step further...
You're halfway there!"

"Wait for the LORD;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the LORD."
Psalm 27:14

"Wait"  means  to stay where one is or delay action
                           until a particular time or
                           until something else happens.

Remain here.
Pause for a rest.
Linger a bit.
Tarry awhile.
Hold on - not so fast.
Stay a little longer.
Don't leave yet.
Don't be so quick to go!
Hold off - We're not ready for you yet!

Be "strong"  means  to withstand great force and pressure.

Determined.
Spirited.
Tough.
Tenacious.
Unshakable.
Unsinkable.
Steadfast.
Courageous.
Firm.
Unflinching.
Brave.

"Take heart"  means  to be encouraged, be comforted.

Cheer up!
Brighten up.
Lighten up.
Don't worry!
Revive yourself.
Have hope.
It will be okay.
Smile.

"But David found strength
in the LORD his God."
1 Samuel 30:6b

"For the revelation awaits an appointed time;
it speaks of the end and will not prove false.
Though it linger, wait for it;
it will certainly come and not delay."
Habakkuk 2:3

Sometimes, stepping out in RED shoes isn't about walking somewhere, it's about WAITING.

Some things can't be rushed!
