Stepping Out in RED Shoes!

- Day 73 -

If I do it MY way...

I'll never get what I really want!

Sometimes I want to keep my feet firmly planted on the ground.
God says... "But I thought you wanted to fly?"

Sometimes I want to put my arms around all my stuff and hold onto it.
God says... "But I thought you wanted to be free?"

Sometimes I want to be normal -- I want to fit in.
God says... "But I thought you wanted to be unique and extraordinary?"

Sometimes I want to settle into a good routine.
God says... "I thought you wanted a life of adventure?"

Sometimes I don't want to be alone.
God says... "I thought you wanted intimacy with Me?"

Sometimes I want a good paying, 9-5 job.
God says... "I thought you wanted to be wealthy and play?"

Sometimes I want to have a pity party.
God says... "I thought you wanted to dance in the presence of the King?"

Sometimes I want to operate with expertise in the natural.
God says... "Why would you limit yourself like that?"

My dreams require Divine Partnership!  

That's why I step out each day in RED shoes, with Him.

"Take delight in the LORD and He 

will give you the desires of your heart."

Psalm 37:4
