The Shift

Stepping Out in RED Shoes!

- Day 152 -

The slightest change in position 

can cause everything else to 

fall into it's proper place. 

Have you ever thought of your life as a puzzle of sorts?  Do you ever find yourself searching through all the pieces trying to figure out how they fit together?   

You start off by putting all the straight edges together and building a border.  Then you separate the interior pieces by color, attempting to connect them to one another.  Even if you have a picture to follow, it can be quite challenging and time consuming.   

Day after day, you stay with it.  It's a slow process, but you manage to get bits and pieces that fit together.   In one corner you have something that resembles a garden.  In another corner, it looks like you're building an old country house.  Just off to the side, there's half of a golden retriever taking a nap next to a watering can.   

Then right smack in the middle is something, but you're not quite sure what.  The picture says it's an old fashioned truck, but you wonder if the picture is wrong.  Every once in a while, you find another piece that fits it, but you've got a long ways to go.

The big question is:  

"How do all these clusters of pieces 

come together to make one big picture?"

As I was worshipping The LORD at church today, 

God whispered in my ear, 

 " A shift is occurring, even as we speak." 

 "What does that mean?"  I wondered.

A shift  can be the slightest of movements, but with it, everything changes.  

The light gets turned on!   The pieces all come together.  

You start to see the full picture -- What God is really doing!

 Something hidden might suddenly surface.  Oops!  How did that puzzle piece get on the floor?  Wow! -- It just so happens to be the one piece that connects several keys pieces altogether.   Or perhaps something that's been sitting right in front of you all along -- that has made no sense at all -- is turned around, in the upside down position, and lo and behold -- what do you know? -- that whole cluster now fits into another cluster and the picture -- that was a mystery -- makes sense.  

Today is June 1st.  Almost two years ago, a minister prophesied over me that I was about to take a quantum leap!  I don't even think she touched me, when suddenly I was flat on my back on the floor, wondering how I got there.  It felt so good, I just stayed there with my eyes closed and prayed.  I'm not sure I could have gotten up if I had tried.  

I'd seen people slain in the Spirit 

many, many times, but it had never 

 happened to me -- not like that!  

It was the real deal!

Shortly after that, I began pursuing the LORD in greater fashion.  Six months later, I continued that pursuit with The RED Shoe Project.  A year later, I was still Stepping Out in RED shoes.  Here I am today, starting into my sixth month.   "Surely,  somewhere in all that was my quantum leap?"  I thought.   After all, I've come leaps and bounds beyond anything I could have ever thought possible.  So you can imagine how surprised I was when a couple weeks ago the LORD said...

"Oh no!  The quantum leap hasn't happened yet.  

It's  just about to take place.

June, July & August -- is your special time!

It's your quantum leap."

I'm excited!  This is the first day of this most strange and wonderful season of my life.  I've been notified that a "shift" has just occurred.  I'm anticipating some missing pieces to come to the forefront and begin fitting together.

 My RED shoes are on my feet, and I'm stepping out each day, ready for all that awaits me.  
Bring it on, LORD!  Bring it on!
