Stepping Out in RED Shoes!

That's where...

• The Price was Paid
• The Power was Perceived and 
• The Partnership was Presented

Some mornings I just have to laugh.  My eyes are barely open and God wants to talk  "heavy duty."
Right there, while I'm still in my pajamas, He downloads a sermon outline that's power-packed and totally answers all my questions.  On mornings like that, I just have to reach for my journal and begin jotting it all down.  Thank God He doesn't take offense to my note taking in bed.  If I don't do that, I wont remember it later and it's way too good to lose!

As I attempt to step out each day in RED shoes and minster to the people God brings my way, it's critical I understand the scriptural foundation on which I stand.  I've said it before and I'll say it again...

In and of myself, I've got nothing to offer.  

I can't save.  I can't heal.  I can't deliver.  I can't provide.  

That's the part God handles.  

My part is to be the vessel in which He can move.

The Red Shoe Project has been all about stepping out, by faith, and allowing God to use me for His purpose.  Often that purpose is to inspire.  Sometimes it's to connect people with God and empower them through the infilling of the Holy Spirit.  Many days, it's to pray with people for healing, deliverance or provision.  This message fortifies my authority to do such a thing!  I'm not going to fill in all the details for you.  I'm going to give it to you as it was given to me and trust that you'll allow the Holy Spirit to fill in the gaps for you.

1.  The PRICE was PAID 
at the CROSS.

Isaiah 53:4-5 AMP says...

"Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains (of punishment).  Yet we (ignorantly) considered Him stricken, smitten and afflicted by God (as if with leprosy).
 But he was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities;  the chastisement (needed to obtain) peace and well being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes that wounded Him, we are healed and made whole."

2.  The POWER was PERCEIVED 
at the EMPTY TOMB.

Romans 8:11 NLT says...

"The Spirit f God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you.  and just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, He will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you."

3.  The PARTNERSHIP was PRESENTED

 in the UPPER ROOM.

Acts 1:8 NIVsays...

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Acts 2:4  NIV says...
"All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them."

Acts 19:2,4-5 says
"... 'Did you received the Holy Spirit when you believed?'  
They answered, 'No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.' 
On hearing this, they were baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus.  
When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, 
and they spoke in tongues and prophesied."
