An Observation.

Stepping Out in RED Shoes!
- Day 149 -

I witnessed it with my own eyes!

A dear friend of mine finally made it back to Sarasota for The Bonfire this week.  She’s usually a regular, but lately she hasn't been able to make it for several weeks.  One week it was her work schedule. Another week it was her car.  Still another week went by and again I didn’t see her.  Oh, she had all legitimate excuses,  no doubt,  but today it became obvious  that the enemy of her soul was behind it all.

“The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy!”
John 10:10a

At the end of the meeting – which by the way was filled with testimony after testimony  of what God has been doing in people’s lives – my friend had a word to share.

It was a great word.
In fact, she got to preaching!

That's when I took notice of something important.   As she spoke, she came alive.  I could see her growing in the Spirit.  The warrior in her rose up.

The enemy will do his best to
keep God's soldiers off the battle field.  That's one way he robs them
of their God given gifts.

My friend needs battle time -- time to wield that sword of hers.  As she spoke The Word to the women, she was strengthened, along with everyone else.   I love seeing someone operate in their gifts!  She was on fire!

You can't wait to be powerful to be used by God.
You just have to show up and plug in!
That'll do it!

What is it that God has called you to do?  You’re call always strengthens you.  That’s where you’re anointing is.  Doang what you were created to do is not something you have to do.  It's something you get to do...  And everyone is blessed by it!

But it doesn't happen if you don't show up!

Afterwards, my sister and I  went to the coffee shop to chat.  It happened again!   She started downloading to me volumes of vital info from God’s word, complete with example after example of how she’s tested it herself... so she knows it works.

 She’s a teacher!
She’s a preacher!
She's on fire!

By the time she headed home, she had doubled in spiritual size.  She was confident.  She was zealous.  She was healthy and strong!  That's because stepping Out in RED Shoes  is about doing what God has called you to do!

That said,  What should you be doing?  Take back what the devil has tried to steal and get to it!

In RED shoes,

Gail
